Yamaha collects both your personal data and other information (hereinafter "Your Information") from you, such as username, image, songs and SNS accounts. Please refer to Annex A for the detail.

Your Information is used for the following purposes.

• To provide you the use of the Software and related products and services.
• To enable Yamaha to support you or to provide troubleshooting.
• To analyze Your Information in order to study users’ behavior so that Yamaha Group Companies are able to improve and develop the products and services.

Yamaha shall delete or anonymize Your Information in 90 days after deletion of your account.

Yamaha shall not share Your Information to anyone except for;

• Yamaha Group Companies, and
• third parties as the data processor who may handle Your Information just to process or analyze and should delete Your Information after they complete their operation. Please refer to Annex B for the detail.

To protect Your Information that we have stored from unauthorized access and misuse, Yamaha has taken comprehensive technical and operational security precautions. Our security procedures are regularly inspected and adapted in line with technological advances. However, you should take all precautions to safeguard your passwords and any account information that you may have or provide and to employ current virus-scanning or firewall software and other security safeguards.
Our employees are regularly trained and are obliged to maintain data confidentiality.

For users located in certain territories, such as European Union and other countries, Yamaha advise you that Your Information may at times be accessible by individuals who are located worldwide including in countries that the European Union or other geopolitical regions have not been determined to provide the same level of data protection as in your country, province, territory or geopolitical region. By providing us with Your Information, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this "Handling of Your Information", including the transfer of Your Information across international boundaries to jurisdictions anywhere in the world as permitted by local law.

As Yamaha respect your right on your privacy, upon request, we would be happy to tell you whether we have your personal data saved, and what these are, in accordance with our legal obligation.
You may withdraw your consent to this "Handling of Your Information" by operating the Software. However, please note that your withdrawal ceases the usage of the Software accordingly.

Only the person yourself may make the question or request. Please be aware that we may need to verify the identity of the person yourself making the request, for example, the name of a social networking account and/or the following profiles set on the Piano Diary:

- Name
- Biography
- Country
- Recently played

We may contact you if any details sent by you are unclear. We may not be able to respond to you if we are not able to confirm such details.

Firebase we use is an analytical tool that allow us to recognize and count the statistical data as foregoing by collecting Cookie and/or using other alike technologies. The statistical data collected by Firebase may be referred through Google Analytics.
When Yamaha uses the above third party service, Yamaha does not obtain your personally identifiable information. If you do not wish any of your data to be sent to Yamaha, you may opt out all the data tracking functions by changing the setting in the Software. The data tracking will be stopped when you turn off "Allow data to be sent" in the setting.

Yamaha may update or revise this Handling of Your Information from time to time. We will display a current version of our Handling of Your Information at this page. If you use the Software after we revise this Handling of Your Information, you will be required to accept and consent to the terms of the revised Handling of Your Information. If you do not agree with any terms in this Handling of Your Information, please do not use this Software. • Access token that provides temporary secure access to Twitter / Facebook / Youtube APIs
• country of residence

• Information required for remote-control
  • type of iOS device and version of the iOS
  • access countries
  • data of operational object, such as date and time of user request, etc.
• Usage data, how you interact with the Software
• Detected status and configurations of related devices, etc.
